・必要な時に、下部の小窓から1枚ずつ取り出せる構造です。

『Office Sofy（オフィスソフィ）』

・ふた付きのプラスチック製容器のため水回りの保管にも適しており衛生的にご利用いただけます。

・中にナプキンを補充し、使用者がふたを開けて必要分を取り出す形です。

Red Box Japan Partners with Unicharm’s “Doko Demo Sofy” Initiative

Red Box Japan has entered into a partnership with Unicharm Corporation’s Doko Demo Sofy initiative.

As a partner organisation of Doko Demo Sofy, a programme developed by Unicharm Corporation, the non-profit organisation Red Box Japan has commenced support for the introduction of sanitary product dispensers in schools and workplaces across Japan.

About “Doko Demo Sofy”

Doko Demo Sofy is an initiative designed to create environments where menstrual products are accessible whenever and wherever they are needed. The programme provides two types of dispensers free of charge※1:

• School Sofy for educational institutions

• Office Sofy for workplaces

The sanitary products stocked inside the dispensers are purchased by the participating schools or companies.

For this initiative, Unicharm supplies fully sealed, individually wrapped sanitary pads (Sofy SPORTS Winged Pads). Until now, offering menstrual pads individually wrapped in compliance with the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act had posed challenges in terms of productivity and cost. Through the development of products that meet these requirements, it has become possible to provide hygienic, individually packaged sanitary products that anyone can use with confidence.

Through this initiative, Red Box Japan and Unicharm aim to realise a society in which menstrual products are readily available everywhere, and one in which individuals can live more freely and authentically.

※1 The free provision applies to both types of dispensers. The sanitary products supplied inside are available for purchase. This service may be changed or discontinued without prior notice.

Objectives of Introducing the Programme in Schools

• To create a learning environment where students are not forced to forgo classes or school life due to lack of access to menstrual products

• To provide opportunities for students to access accurate knowledge about menstruation

• To foster safe and supportive school environments where students feel able to speak up when in need

• To support the health and educational opportunities of female students, contributing to the development of future female talent and leaders

• To establish workplace environments where menstrual products can be accessed safely and with peace of mind when needed

• To reduce the physical and mental burden associated with menstruation and minimise its impact on work

• To support workplaces where female employees can continue working in a way that reflects their individuality

• To foster an inclusive corporate culture where everyone, regardless of gender, can work comfortably, as part of broader DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and wellbeing initiatives

School Sofy

• Lightweight cardboard construction allows the dispenser to be hung on walls or shelves

• Designed to dispense one pad at a time through a small opening at the bottom

• Easy to install and relocate, making it suitable for various locations within school premises
  
  

Office Sofy

• Made from durable plastic with a lid, suitable for hygienic storage in washrooms

• Users can open the lid and take the required number of pads after replenishment

• Features a simple, clean design that blends seamlessly into office environments
