Red Box Japan (REDBOXJAPAN), a UK-based charity that donates boxes of free sanitary products to schools with the aim of supporting students during their periods (location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, representative: Shiona Oguma, hereinafter referred to as "Red Box Japan"), has donated sanitary products to toilets in 177 public facilities in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.

Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture has decided to install sanitary products in toilets in public facilities from March 8th (International Women's Day) in order to reduce the mental and physical burden that women experience during their periods and to realize a gender-equal society regardless of gender, so that toilet paper is a commonplace item and can be used when needed.

Red Box Japan provided free sanitary products to 177 facilities (with 392 toilets) in Matsumoto City .

・Sanitary products (individually packaged) will be provided in shared spaces within the restrooms. ・Notification signs will be posted on the entrance doors of restrooms where sanitary products are provided (posted on the restroom doors).

Currently, sanitary products provided by Red Box Japan are available at Matsumoto Yamaga FC's home stadium, Sunpro Alwin, as well as in Azumino City and Ikeda Town in Nagano Prefecture.

Starting in October 2021, sanitary products will be provided in women's and multi-purpose restrooms at Matsumoto Yamaga FC Stadium.
