Red Box Japan, a project that provides free sanitary products to students attending Japanese schools, has donated sanitary products to Okinawa Prefectural Shuri High School .
This is the first time that Red Box has been introduced in Okinawa Prefecture.
Of the 490 elementary, junior high, and high schools in Okinawa Prefecture, 72 schools have expressed interest in introducing the system, and the first school to do so, Shuri High School, held a presentation ceremony on October 27th.
Kentaro Teruya, a Shuri High School graduate and Okinawa representative for Red Box Japan, attended the presentation ceremony.
