Red Box Japan has launched a new project called "Red Boxes of the World" on its official social media accounts (Instagram, X) to introduce the efforts of various countries in the international support initiative "The Red Box Project" that tackles menstrual poverty. It will start at.
About "The World's Red Box"
The Red Box Project was founded in Portsmouth, UK in 2017 as an initiative to provide free sanitary products to schools and local communities, and is now being promoted in countries around the world to address period poverty.
"Red Boxes of the World" is a project that highlights activities in various countries where the Red Box Project is being implemented, and shares how menstrual poverty is being addressed and support is being provided in each region.
By learning about examples from various countries, we hope to provide hints that can be used to solve social issues facing women, including menstruation, in Japan, and to raise awareness of this issue among more people.
Future posts will be posted on Red Box Japan's official social media accounts, so be sure to check them out!
